Operion is a Zoho partner and sets up Bigin by Zoho for small SME teams that want to move from loose lists and emails to a proper customer record. We also tell you honestly when your team is bigger than Bigin can handle.
What it does
Bigin is a light CRM from Zoho. You keep contacts, companies and deals in a pipeline, plan tasks and appointments, and see per customer what has been discussed. The set-up is deliberately simple, so your team uses it without long training.
You get in touch from within the program, by email and phone, and you can gather messages from different channels on a contact. What exactly is included depends on the edition you choose.
Who it is for
It suits small SME teams, freelancers with staff and companies that now work in spreadsheets and mailboxes. A single sales pipeline is enough for them and they mainly want an overview.
A company outgrows Bigin once you need several pipelines and departments, extensive permissions, reports across many sources or your own ways of working to record. Then it pays to move to Zoho CRM. See below.
Set-up
These are the choices we make with you during the intake:
The steps from first contact to a won deal, in the words of your team.
Which lists from spreadsheets or mail come along and how we prevent duplicate contacts.
Which details you keep per contact and deal, and which you do not need.
How a contact without action gets a reminder.
Who may see what and who manages the set-up.
Connections
Bigin works together with Zoho Mail and can use a form from Zoho Forms or from your website as a source of new contacts. For invoicing we look at which accounting you use and what is available as standard.
Which connections with your programs are possible, we check in the intake.
More about connections with your ERP, WMS and webshop is on integration.

Zoho CRM is the more extensive option. It fits once you want several pipelines, extensive automation, reports across several sources or your own structure for the data.
Moving from Bigin to Zoho CRM is a well-known path. Which data and settings can come along, we discuss in the intake. If you want to start with Zoho CRM right away, that is possible without a detour.
Licences
The licences and current prices of Zoho Bigin are on the Zoho pricing page. During the intake we decide which plan fits you.
